ESL/Citizenship Classes
ESL/Citizenship classes prepare students for the USCIS Citizenship test. During classes, students will perform mock interviews, study relevant American civics, and practice the English reading and writing portions of the test. Classes are offered in small group settings and individually over the phone.

Citizenship Interview Escort Services
Students eligible to conduct their citizneship interview in Spanish should inquire about our interview escourt services, which include transportation to the USCIS building and translation during the interivew. Note: interpreters are not lawyers and cannot legally represent students during the interivew.
Passport Applications and Voter Registration
Once students have completed the citizenship interview and ceremony, they are eligible to apply for a U.S. passport and register to vote. CLSF will work 1:1 with students to complete the passport application and voter registration, and will ensure that students include all supplementary materials needed to apply.
USCIS Tours
CLSF offers a guided tour of the USCIS building to help familiarize students with the agency location and reduce anxiety. Students will have the opportunity to observe an interivew room, engage with immigration officers, and perform mock interviews. Tours are scheduled per USCIS availability and with repsect to COVID-19 guidelines.
