Annual Irish-Mexican Fiesta
|
Centro Latino plays a unique role in organizing and hosting an annual event to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of first responders from law enforcement agencies in San Francisco. For the past 15 years, Centro Latino has awarded certificates of recognition to officers of Irish and Latino heritage that have performed exemplary service over and beyond the call of duty. The event, traditionally held every September at the United Irish Cultural Center, also memorializes the bravery of Los San Patricio's Battalion.
